DEVAN J. CORRIGAN
Principal
Devan specializes in conducting workplace investigations having conducted over 175 in his career. He has over 20 years of experience in human resources and labour relations working with such organizations as Canadian Pacific, Canada Post, Resolute Forest Products, and Glencore PLC. Devan found Corrigan HR Consulting, Inc. in 2017 and the firm has provided unparalleled human resources consulting in that time.
Devan holds a Master of Industrial Relations from Queen’s University as well as an Honours Degree in Psychology and a certificate in Human Resources Management from Saint Mary’s University.
Devan’s expertise in human resources and labour relations, combined with his background in psychology, make him a highly skilled HR consultant. In addition to this experience, Devan is also the lead facilitator for the Queen’s University Industrial Relations Centre Fact-Finding and Investigation professional training program. This program teaches working professionals how to conduct workplace investigations. He is also a member of the Association of Workplace Investigators (AWI).
Devan has authored publications touching on various matters related to workplace investigations including published articles for the Queen’s Industrial Relations Centre.

DYLAN J. FENTON
Managing Director - Nova Scotia
A lawyer by trade, Dylan is passionate about bridging HR with law and approaching complex HR issues from a legal perspective. Throughout law school, Dylan assisted Corrigan HR Consulting, Inc. with workplace investigations and producing high quality reports. His philosophy is to deliver law-firm-quality services at a fraction of the cost.
Dylan is a graduate of McGill University’s Faculty of Law where he focused his studies on business, employment, and constitutional law. As a volunteer student advocate at the Legal Clinic during his studies, Dylan has experience in advocating for clients and fighting for procedural fairness. He also holds an Honours Bachelor of Political Science degree from the University of Ottawa, graduating magna cum laude.
Dylan completed his articles in Toronto on Bay Street at Blake, Cassels & Graydon LLP. He is currently a licensed lawyer in Ontario as a 2024 Call to the Bar.
Based in Halifax, Dylan is passionate about expanding Corrigan HR Consulting, Inc. throughout Atlantic Canada and beyond. He aims to develop expertise in workplace investigations, HR policy review and implementation, and various law-adjacent aspects of HR. Procedural fairness, statutory compliance, and labour & employment issues are his areas of focus.
Dylan is functionally bilingual in both English and French.

With over 35 years of HR and Labour Relations experience working in multiple industries, Barbara is a highly capable and personable human resources professional who will provide your firm with the very best guidance in all areas of human resources.

She has a wealth of experience in HR and Labour Relations and has demonstrated a strong track record of success in her past endeavors. Barbara is well-versed in all aspects of HR, from employee relations to recruitment and selection and a deep understanding of resolving conflicts in the workplace.
